Travertine

Travertine is a type of sedimentary rock that is formed by the precipitation of carbonate minerals from water that flows through underground limestone deposits. It is known for its unique texture and warm earthy tones, which range from creamy beige to rusty red.

Travertine is often used as a building material and decorative element in both residential and commercial projects. It is commonly used for flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and exterior paving.

One of the main advantages of travertine is its natural variation in texture and color, which gives it a unique, organic look. The porous nature of travertine allows it to be honed and polished to a high shine, or left with a natural matte finish.

Travertine is relatively soft compared to other natural stones like granite and marble, and it is susceptible to scratching and chipping. However, it is a durable and long-lasting material when properly installed and maintained.

Travertine requires regular sealing to protect it from water damage and staining. It is also important to avoid exposing travertine to acidic substances, which can etch the surface and cause discoloration.

Overall, travertine is a beautiful and versatile natural stone that adds warmth and character to any space. Its unique texture and color variation make it a popular choice for both traditional and modern architectural styles.

Configuration for a 100tph travertine crushing line:

Vibrating Feeder: GZD960×3800
Primary Jaw Crusher: PE600×900
Secondary Cone Crusher: PYB1200 with fine cavity
Vibrating Screen: 3YK1848
Belt Conveyor (multiple sets): B500×15m, B800×18m, B1000×20m
Electric Control System
The vibrating feeder will feed the raw travertine into the primary jaw crusher evenly and continuously. The primary jaw crusher will reduce the size of the raw material to a size that can be handled by the secondary cone crusher. The secondary cone crusher will crush the travertine into the desired size with a fine cavity.

The crushed travertine will then be screened by a vibrating screen to separate the desired sizes. The screened materials will be conveyed to their respective stockpiles by the belt conveyor.

The configuration includes multiple sets of belt conveyors, which will be used to transport the material from one processing stage to another. The electric control system will be used to control and monitor the operation of the crushing line.

Note that the specific configuration of a travertine crushing line may vary depending on factors such as the quality and characteristics of the raw material, the required output size, and the budget available for the project. Therefore, it is essential to consult with a professional engineer to determine the best configuration for your specific needs.
