In the thriving ceramic industry of Malaysia, high-quality raw material processing is essential to achieving excellent product standards. Our client, seeking to transform ceramic rock into fine ceramic mud suitable for pottery production, turned to us for a complete and efficient processing solution.
To meet this demand, we provided a full set of equipment, including a jaw crusher, tailored to handle the complete transformation process—from raw stone to refined ceramic slurry ready for forming.

✅ A Three-Stage Processing Line
The production line includes:
- Feeding Hopper: Holds and regulates the flow of raw ceramic rock into the crushing system, ensuring a steady and controlled feed rate.
- Jaw Crusher: Efficiently crushes the ceramic rock into smaller particles, preparing it for fine grinding.
- Belt Conveyor: Transfers the crushed material smoothly from the jaw crusher to the ball mill, reducing manual handling and improving process efficiency. Our belt conveyors are designed to match the height and discharge points of each machine, ensuring seamless material flow throughout the line.
- Ball Mill: Grinds the crushed material into a fine slurry using a ball mill, ensuring uniform texture and particle size distribution ideal for ceramic mud preparation.
- Filter Press: Removes excess water from the slurry, yielding a plastic ceramic mud ready for shaping and forming.

This workflow ensures a consistent, high-purity ceramic mud output ideal for small-scale, high-value ceramic production. With a capacity of around 200 kg per hour, this compact line is particularly suitable for:

- Artisanal pottery workshops producing teapots, cups, and bowls in limited batches;
- Decorative ceramics, including handmade vases, figurines, and custom sculptures;
- Craft studios and ceramic art schools requiring flexible, clean raw materials for creative use;
- Prototype production or niche product development in high-end ceramic design;
- Local ceramic brands seeking to maintain full control over material consistency and quality.

For many small and medium ceramic businesses, flexibility and quality matter more than raw capacity. This line delivers just that—a compact, efficient, and reliable solution for converting ceramic rock into ready-to-shape ceramic mud, tailored for artistic expression, craftsmanship, or boutique-scale manufacturing. At the same time, we also offer larger-scale production lines for clients requiring higher capacity, ensuring scalability as production needs grow.

🌍 Common Ceramic Raw Materials – Also Handled by Our Equipment
While our customer in this project used ceramic rock as the main raw material, our equipment is also widely used for processing other common ceramic raw materials, including:
- Kaolinitic Rock – a clay-rich mineral for porcelain and fine ceramics
- China Stone – a feldspathic rock used in whiteware and sanitary ceramics
- Ball Clay – known for its excellent plasticity and shaping behavior
- Feldspar and Quartz – often used as flux and filler in ceramic formulas
Malaysia, particularly in states like Perak and Sarawak, is known for its reserves of kaolin, feldspar, and clay minerals, making it a strategic location for ceramic material processing. Our jaw crushers, ball mills, and filter presses can be configured to handle these materials efficiently, whether from hard rock or clay-rich deposits.

📦 Shipment and Packaging
To ensure secure international delivery, all equipment was carefully packed and loaded into containers. Each machine—jaw crusher, ball mill, and filter press—was reinforced with custom steel frames or wood fixtures to prevent movement or damage during transit. The full shipment has now been dispatched to Malaysia, where our client is preparing for installation and commissioning.
