Rotary dryer introduction
Rotary dryer(Drying Machine) is used for drying materials with a certain humidity or granularity in milling of ores, building materials, metallurgy and chemical industry. Rotary Dryer Working principle
Materials are sent to hopper of rotary dryer by belt conveyor or bucket elevator.The barrel is installed with slope to horizontal line. Materials enter the barrel from the higher side, and hot air enters the barrel from the lower side, materials and hot air mix together. Materials go to the lower side by gravity when the barrel rotates. Lifters on the inner side of barrel lift materials up and down to make materials and hot air mix completely. So drying efficiency is improved.

A: Our rotary dryers are versatile and can handle a wide range of materials, including river sand, mineral ore, coal slime, industrial waste, and various chemical raw materials. We provide customized internal lifting flight designs based on the specific moisture and flowability of your material.
Q2: How to calculate the fuel consumption of a rotary dryer?
A: Fuel consumption depends on the initial and final moisture content of the material, as well as the heat source type (coal, gas, or biomass). Generally, evaporating 1 ton of water requires approximately 650,000 to 750,000 kcal of heat. We can provide a detailed energy consumption report based on your specific requirements.
Q3: What are the main components that ensure a long service life of the dryer?
A: We use high-strength Q235B or alloy steel for the drum, and the supporting rollers and tires are made of forged steel with heat treatment. Additionally, our heavy-duty girth gear and precision-engineered drive system ensure stable operation under high temperatures.
